Audio became distorted on my laptop. These speakers save the day.

This thing rocks the house. I heard an earlier version of this at a block party and was impressed. I bought one for a party we were having and it was amazing especially the bass response. Its bigger than some Bluetooth speakers but way smaller than regular stereo speakers PLUS its battery powered (although I would use it plugged when I can) and easy to control from an old phone or similar (so music is not interrupted by phone calls). I discovered the sound from my old Galaxy S3 is not as good or as loud as through my new iPhone 8 for some reason but still good. Must be a difc in the BT technology. I think they can be networked together. If so Im getting 2 more for parties that are inside and outside.

When my Bose Soundlink original developed trouble charging, either old battery or faulty plug-in, I opted for the HK Onyx as a replacement. I love this thing. Not as small and protable, but fuller, deeper sound, and with a hidden handle makes it easy to grab and carry. A single charging lasts or hours at moderate volume. Power connection port and battery is more robust and will outlast the Bose.

This is a great speaker! The connectivity is very quick and easy and it looks and sounds great. There is a slight difference in the sound volume when it is plugged in vs. not plugged in but it isnt a show stopper. I use it primarily indoors and it pretty much nullifies the need for my stereo! A bit pricey but still highly recommended!!!

Bluetooth features are great

Have loved this speaker for years. Only downside for me is the bluetooth connection does not always pick up on first try. Sound quality is great and I love how it looks. You wont mind having this speaker on your shelf- pretty

The sound quality is awesome

Sound is amazing. It has depth. I have bought two previous Bose (one within the recent month of purchasing this) which I thought had great sound, but this doesn’t compare when it comes to sound depth( base) I wish the battery lasted a little bit longer. I am very satisfied. This was recommended by my friend, and I doubt I will go back to a bose.

The sound is incredible compared to less expensive Bose I previously purchased. Perfect for my great room, where it will always reside. I dont have a need to take it outside. I am leaving it plugged in to wall socket. Looks nice in a corner of my kitchen counter, sitting on top of my small radio - which is elevated. This corner is far enough removed from sink and splashes but elevated just in case:) It appears I ordered just in time, too, as price has increased by $30! I am pleased.
