Risk is a classic!! Easy to learn. Not too complicated. Hours of strategic gaming fun.

Things that I wished they made it like before: 1) A hard clear case to let you see and retrieve unit pieces. The current container is made from flimsy paper that will crumble from any accidental light force that provides no protection to the pieces inside. 2) Simple hardier rubber/plastic pieces that can withstand being stepped upon. What you get from the box are basically cheap crushable plastic Army-Men that you can get from a dollar store. Its quite astounding how youll be spend so much time sorting out the hard-to-see-tangled-pieces before getting what you need. It wont be a problem if they made they were geometric (like asterisks) pieces like before.

Loved the game! A new family favorite. I would recommend watching a video on how to play before you attempt to play the first time. Its a very strategic game.

A had a bit of nostalgia one day and bought this after remembering all the Thanksgivings and Christmases of playing all day with my brother. I now understand why the older, more classic versions are so highly priced. This new, updated version is a bit of a letdown. The game board and cards were fine but the army pieces that I remember growing up were similar to the old GI Joe pieces. These new pieces are about half the size (maybe) and very flimsy and cheap looking. Make sure not to sneeze, cough, or breath near the board or they may fly off. In a game where strategy is so critical this was a huge nuisance having to constantly fix and re-set up pieces that constantly fell over.

Take over the world in this game of strategic conquest! In the Risk board game, the goal is simple: players aim to conquer their enemies’ territories by building an army, moving their troops in, and engaging in battle. Depending on the roll of the dice, a player will either defeat the enemy or be defeated. Defeat all of the enemy troops in a territory to conquer that territory and get one step closer to global conquest! This exciting strategy game is filled with betrayal, alliances, and surprise attacks. On the battlefield, anything goes! It also features 4 ways to play, including Secret Mission Risk. The player who completes their secret mission first -- and reveals the Secret Mission card to prove it -- wins. When done playing, place the armies and dice in the 5 war crates for easy storage. The Risk game is one of best board games for family night. Tabletop games make fun gifts for teens, kids ages 10+, and adults that are fans of war board games.
