I bought this cable after losing my original charger that came with my Nintendo DS. I prefer this over the original now that I have been using it. Just use your normal adapter you charge your phone with or even better, use a power bank and go portable.

When you have a power bank that doesnt have a outlet on it and you dont want to buy the $50 plus power bank just to have a outlet.

the sleeving is really really cheap. ive had the cable for less than 4 months and its already dead.
