I needed to charge my old DS I found in storage and was able to get some pictures off of some relatives that are no longer with us, and then gave the DS to my nephew who appreciates gifts like this. Great value, perfect t o travel and plug into a battery pack or into a car USB port.

Seems like a pretty standard cable in terms of quality, I dont expect it to break anytime soon. Charges my DSi and New 3DS perfectly fine. Cant wait to take it on trips.

It works, I dont have to worry about my dsi dying while Im out and then having to bring my bulky type A two pin base charger with me. I can just easily plug it into a laptop, a smaller base, my pc, the usb car charger, etc. So convenient.

I bought this cable after losing my original charger that came with my Nintendo DS. I prefer this over the original now that I have been using it. Just use your normal adapter you charge your phone with or even better, use a power bank and go portable.
