I love this seam ripper, so Im giving it a five star review (even though this is for replacement blades).

These blades are super sharp. After accidently grazing my thump with the blade tip, there was a fine cut, which I never felt. These Havel blades slice through stiches without effort. These blades go into the Havel seamripper, and it is a often used tool for sewing goofs or opening a button hole.

This product is the best seam ripper in the world. Its sharp and easy to use; I make a lot of mistakes so I use the ripper a lot.

I recommend this product to all my sewing classes. This is absolutely the sharpest tool in my sewing basket, beware!

Havels product cuts the threads with a flick of the wrist where the older type of seam rippers have to be jabbed at the thread. Just insert the tip under the thread and turn the handle ever so slightly. No plunging or stabbing necessary. Once you try this type of seam ripper, youll never go back to the old type.

I am always glad when a company offers spares for their products. It is a problem when the company sells a product and never shares how to obtain the parts that make the product function. (I have this problem with replacement ink for Pens. The colors- violet, red, pink, yellow.) So great job Havels!
