After reading some of the reviews, I was thinking...whats so special about a broom? But this one is actually a lot better than any other broom I have used! I really like how well it gets into corners and picks up hair and debris. I had brought it over to a friends house to help them with a project and accidently left it there - and they loved it too! So, I gave them that one and bought myself a new one :)

People sure have gotten good at packaging things in boxes for Amazon. Youd look at the box and think can this really hold a full sized sturdy broom? but yes it can. Screw the bits together and it sweeps just as good and holds just as sturdy as the ones your grandparents used to use. For outdoor use it works fine, I eventually found I wanted something bigger but even so its nice to have something to sweep the nooks and crannies, and for a small balcony or something it would be perfect. No wood or iron parts, so you can just hose it down even if its filthy with cobwebs and dust from sitting outside.

The broom is light weight which is good for me. The broom has an angle brush that helps get into cracks and corners. It swept both sand and debris easily.

Its a broom. I got it to use outside on the patio and sidewalk. It doesnt work well for dirt/dust, heavier items (pinecones) and pine needles. It gets most leaves, but is useless when trying to sweep up single leaves. Bottom line, if you need an outdoor broom for the above items, look elsewhere.

Easy to assemble and feels very sturdy. I only wish the bristles were a little stiffer. We live in a sandy area and when it rains the sand sticks to our wooden porch. This broom does work, just takes a little more effort than my old stiffer bristled broom.

I needed a broom to sweep up dirt and debris around my planting table, which is on my pool paver patio. The pavers are rough and uneven so I needed a broom that had stiff bristles and was angled just right. This broom does a great job.
