Popped this puppy in and bada-boom-bada-bing it was all done. Smooth. This is perfect for a closet, or in our case, a laundry room - where you want a door handle, but no lock. The black pewter squarish style is sharp and unique.

This products looks very similar to the Kwikset Halifax door handle design. Its a close resemblance to where most people wouldnt notice a difference, especially since it seems to be of great quality in terms of fit and finish. Installation is quick and easy -- just ensure that the alignment is perfect since the straight lines of this kind of design can easily look misaligned compared to a traditional round knob. The biggest issue for me is that the price is very comparable to the name brand version that can bought at a certain warehouse store. This would be a more compelling purchase if it were priced more competitively.

My husband installed this handle on our guest room door today, and I really like how it feels. It works perfectly fine, as I would expect from any handle. I like how easy it is to unlock it from outside, in case of an emergency. We have a little one who has locked herself up before. In that case it was with the old handle, where you need a long, narrow tool to unlock it. For this lock, a coin or larger screwdriver seem to fit.

We love the color and design of this door handle. Changing our hardware from brushed nickel to black with this style makes every door look distinct and elegant. Oh, we painted our interior doors a dark grey.

Out of the box, I could tell this was nice quality, and a nice weight to it. Installing it was basically like any door lock so no funny business there. Basically this replaced some very old locks that no longer wanted to turn, so huge improvement to me. I like it.
