Thick gauge. Seems like it’ll last a long time.

While not its intended purpose, this screen is perfect for putting over the burner of our camp stove. Now we can use our smaller pots and even enjoy the decadence of an espresso maker in the middle of nowhere.

Much better than first soldering screen that came with the tripod.

Its a bit of a heat sink, so youll need more torch power, but it handles the heat so much better than flimsy version that can melt in use.

Bought this after a Susan Leonart Kasmer class. The mesh allowed for even, fast heating of pieces. I recommend.

I use this on top of a metal tripod for torch enameling metals. Far better than the mesh that originally came with my tripod. Torch enameling requires quite a bit of heat and the old mesh burned right through after less than 6 months of fairly light use. I find Im enameling more often now that I have a more reliable and heavy mesh to use.

This heavy guage mesh is so much better than the thin mesh that came with my stand. Wish I had upgraded a long time ago.
