The filters were the perfect replacement for my Dyson V8 Animal. However, I was hoping that by replacing the original filter I would get a longer battery charge. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

I had not changed the filters in two years and battery life was suffering. Replaced the filters and it is running a world better! Batter does not last as long as originally did, but probably 80% and the suction is excellent again. Prior to replacing these, the dyson was running out of power in about two minutes.

Stop burning through your V8 vacuum lithium battery by changing your Dyson V8 Absolutes 2 air filters. Made all the best difference. Was thinking of junking or giving this vacuum away, and then decided to just change the air filters. Like a brand new vacuum, now. If all else fails, follow the directions.

Bottom filters on picture are the original dyson parts After 2 years I finally decide to change the original filters for fresh new ones..I purchased this product and no later than 2 months later, I noticed it started to smell mushy everytime I would be vaccuuming. The air coming out of the vacuum smelled really bad. After 2 months of use ?.. i am so glad I kept the original parts and im switching back to them. I looked on Dyson website to try to find some original replacement parts but they advertise their vacuum filters for a washable lifetime filter which I did not know before. I dont recommend this product...just wash yours and reuse it and its good as new!

Our Dyson V8 animal+ had performed well for many years but recently my spouse complained of intermittent power on/power off. I asked her if she ever cleaned the filters and she admitted that wasnt high on her list of things to do. I picked up my phone and quickly found these replacement filters. They arrived on schedule and were immediately installed. Her problem was solved. Happy wife, happy life!

Omg I love it, I thought my dyson was damage and after reading a few reviews I found out that it might be because of the filters so I went online to buy new one and read the reviews for this one and bought it, after replacing my original filters for this ones I was able to use my dyson!!
