Hello Kitty Sakar Case with Stylus - DXL-42009 - Nintendo DS

I had to subtract 1 star because the case itself was warped and heat damaged. My “new” version 3DS XL is a snug fit and inside the case feels too heavy for the included wrist strap, so I double I’ll use the case a lot anyway. Since this item was around $10, I’m not going to bother with a return/replacement. The plus side is the stylus. Even though the item description says this stylus is perfect for kids, its actually perfect for us “aging” gamers with gamers thumb (de Quervains tenosynovitis; similar to carpal tunnel). It is larger than the included stylus with the 3DS XL and larger than a replacement stylus I found an a Nintendo accessory pack that I had been using. This Hello Kitty stylus is definitely going to be my new “go to” stylus. It really feels like I’m holding a regular pen (I frequently use larger barrel multi-pens, so I love the feel of the barrel on this Hello Kitty stylus).

This case is so adorable! I bought it for my 3DS and it fit perfectly. It does fit the larger XL size too, but it would be a little tight. The included stylus is very cute, but not too practical to take on the go as its quite large. I keep it in my drawer at home to use when I feel like it because I thought it put too much pressure on my DS in the case when closed. I put a lens cleaner in the little pocket to make sure I keep my screens clean and add a little padding. I read a few reviews stating that the pouch was quite loose and they didnt feel like it would safely hold games, but if you add a cloth, it actually does keep them in place. I keep my games in a little plastic case anyways, but if I just wanted to bring an extra one or two along, they would fit perfectly in this case. The design is cute and really does look 3d when you move it around. I love HK and this case feels like very good quality. Its very firm and can withstand quite an impact. The included strap is also appreciated!

it’s cute but it is a tight fit if you have an xl though it does fit like it says it does. the pin is very cute also but it’s also a tight fit in the case with the ds inside

Its so adorable. It has this holographic effect to it. I feel like my 3DS is secure, it has two elastic bands to hold the DS still so its not just shifting around inside. My own complaint is the pen is a bit bulking and kinda awkward to hold. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a case thats cute and secure.
