We got this for the dog. It works for us because it is easy in and out if someone is riding with us. But if you need it more permanent, i suggest you get some that dont just attach by sliding into the seat crack. Also, you may need it to protect the back of the seat, this does not. Hope this helps.

Great thick material to cover your seats from wear and tear. I have two kids and my back two sears look so worn out. We recently got a new car and didnt want to the back seats to look like my last car. I have one kid that uses car seat and one that doesnt need it. I put both on the back seat.
