What is the point of buying a compact mobile SSD drive if you then put it in an oversized case? Seriously, this is a fine case, but you could easily fit two of the G-Drive Mobile SSDs in here, still have room for cables, and it would still be too long and too wide. Functionally, it is a fine case, but they should reduce all dimensions by 20%. This is not a case custom designed for this drive. Its a small case that people started using, so now its marketed as a G-Drive case. Keep looking if you want a small case for your small drive.

Apparently the seller didn’t like my original feedback because it red flags them lying. This will not remotely hold a gdrive unless you break it into little pieces. The person has misrepresented the capabilities of this product and the drive will never fit in it. Do not waste your time I have already returned mine

Drive works wonders and automatically creates a backup for my Macbook.

SSDs are still not cheap so this case is great protection and peace of mind while carrying around my 1TB SSD. Perfect fit!

This case fits my needs perfectly. I havent had any issue with it since I purchased it in September 2019.

Nice case. A little larger than others on the market but not overly bulky. I bought this and a smaller option. They both work well and protect the drive. If you need a little extra space this is the one.
