> 24 hourVorab: ich nutze Hertz Lautsprecher Komponenten schon seit Jahren in diversen Autos und war bisher top zufrieden. Daher fiel die Wahl beim geplanten sound upgrade Projekts meines 20 Jahre alten 4x4 Diesels nach stundenlangen Recherchen erneut auf Hertz.

> 24 hourPreviously had HSK 165 XL speakers installed in my car. Due to unfortunate circumstances I had to build a new setup.

> 24 hourThe drivers are built like a tank. I am coming up on two years with them in my system now. I have run them without a grille for a good amount of that time because the cone is really durable.

> 24 hourI recently installed a new sound system in my 2015 Dodge Dart, and I was going to continue using my Focal PS 165V components, but I kept reading so many positive reviews about Hertz audio. Well let me tell you, Im so glad I decided to change my components. Dont get me wrong, Focal PS series are some great sounding speakers, but when compared to the Hertz Pro Mille MPK 165P.3 components, the Hertz win hands down! The 3 ohm configuration allows you to draw more power from your amp, plus they can handle quite a bit more power than the Focals (which at the time were close to the same price point). The woofers can also produce a much lower frequency than the Focals, so the mid bass just sounds A LOT BETTER. The tweeters arent quite as bright as the Focals, but thats actually a good thing, as the Focal tweets are a little too bright. The crossovers are outstanding to say the least! All in all, if youre looking for some great sounding components without completely breaking the bank, the Hertz Pro Mille MPK 165P.3 components are, without a doubt, the best sounding set that Ive heard without having to spend over $1000. In fact, I have a good friend of mine that has a $1400 set of K2 Focals, and after hearing my Hertz components, hes kicking himself for spending so much money on his set, and said that mine sound just as good, if not slightly better. I also want to add that if youre gonna spend $500 on a nice set of components, be sure NOT to throw them on a mediocre amp! Im powering mine with a very old school (approximately 1986) Phoenix Gold M44 four channel amp. I cant recommend these speakers enough. If you shop for these online, take your time and find the best deal you can. These speakers are crafted in Italy, and I purchased mine on eBay N.I.B. directly from a seller located in Italy and saved about $200.Plus shipping only took 5-6 days! You cant go wrong with these Hertz components!!! Thank you for reading my review of this excellent set of component speakers! I hope this review was helpful.

> 24 hourI have done a bunch of research about a high quality component set of speakers that would get loud and be super clean and I knew going into this project that whatever I decided to go with wouldnt be cheap. But these sound as good as sets that cost double what these do. I currently have this set running active in my front stage with no rear fill. They are being powered by a Phoenix Gold sx2 800.4 amp with the signal coming from a pioneer 80prs and man do these things love the power this amp puts out. I clamped the woofers recieving right around 140rms and the tweeters substantially less with a clean(unclipped) signal. I would imagine if for whatever odd reason youre running them off just deck power or feeding them clipped signals they would not sound good or last long. The midbass punch is absolutely amazing, best of any set Ive owned and the tweeters scream but not in a bad or harsh way. With other sets Ive owned the tweeters either couldnt keep up or were super harsh and tinny sounding. My doors are fully deadened on the inner and outer skins and I am also using fast rings. Woofers are mounted in the factory location and tweets are flushed into the side mirror covers on the door panels. Best component set Ive owned so far, hands down. I only put the (.. around component because Im not using their passive crossovers. (Just ordered the jl twk88 DSP and a set of hertz 100.5 4 midrange to make it a 3way active set.) These things scream and sound so clean and clear while doing so. No complaints at all for a high quality, amazing sounding set of speakers. Throughout the years Ive ran a bunch of different component sets, alpine type r, Infiniti kappa pros, JBL power series, focal access line and these hertz are by far the best sounding. My circle of friends are all into car audio(sq/spl and sql setups). One buddy is running morel hybrid 602s, another with a set of k2s and both of them had said for the price of theirs compared to what I paid for these they would go with these the next go around. That should say something because focal and morel are some of the top of the top in car audio speakers. Hope this helps anyone whos on the fence!
