Great toilet seatI love that there’s no attachments you have to take off and put back on just left it up and down. It’s sturdy when you attach it to the toilet it’s soft close so you hear no slamming it was just a little too big for my toilet.

I love the idea of having a combined potty training toilet seat that I don’t have to constantly place for my toddler. I do wish, however, that it had a bigger splash guard. While my guy is super excited about potty training, sometimes his aim is not what it should be and urine does not actually go into the toilet like his kid size potty chair. It would be cool if a attachable splashguard was also included for the kids that need that extra help with aiming.

This is a great slow lowering toilet seat. The kid/toddler seat seems to have a magnet that can easily be lowered. The child seat does not lower slowly but the adult one does

We bought a few of these toilet seats from different brands for our house for our potty training son. This brand broke while putting this on the toilet, we contacted the company and they replaced immediately, but compared to other brands, this one did not hold up as well. It fits well on our toilet, but I can’t get over the difference in quality from this brand to a more name brand seat. I could see this one being beneficial for a couple months at most.

I bought this in anticipation for my sons potty training. When it came time to use it, he was excited to be a “big boy”. Well he sat on the seat and it pinched his butt/leg and broke skin. He was now bleeding and crying and refuses to sit on the seat. I wish I would have waited to purchase so I was with in the return window because that’s exactly what I would do! All I can do now is let other people know that you should probably look elsewhere for a seat. Preferably not a plastic one like this one.

I purchased this as they stated it works with Caroma toilets. Although it does partly work, it still shows in the instructions that to tighten properly you have to hold the bottom part which is impossible. I did what I could but it’s a bit loose since my toilet doesn’t provide access to the bottom portion where you would hold it by hand or wrench for extra tightening. I bought another seat from Rona (Mayfair) and for the same price, the quality of Mayfair is much better. Unfortunately, they didn’t provide the screws for tightening with a Caroma toilet so I installed it in the 2nd bathroom. I will leave it like this for now but if I could go back in time, I would have bought another Mayfair seat and just purchased the screws separately to fit the Caroma toilet.

This toilet seat would be okay if it werent for the next to impossible to interpret the instructions. The instructions list two separate ways to install the toilet seat, each of which involves different components / screws. There is little explanation as to when to use which method and which pieces go with what plan. Looking at other reviews, it seems its not just us. Get ready to be frustrated! Once you have managed to install it (after many a curse word being thrown around, and probably jury-rigging the whole thing), the seat itself seems to be decent. The double rim is perfect for potty training and will easily attach to the lid with a magnet. The lower rim is a bit narrower than that of our previous toilet seat to better accommodate the potty training. part. Well probably just switch back to our old seat once our kiddo is over his trepidation of sitting on a regular sized seat.
