I really hate console shelves. They always end up being the defacto storage place for every wire, controller, remote, random electronic accessory that Ive collected for the last six years. I dont need that stuff. I never do. But for some reason I feel compelled to keep ten one foot Ethernet cables around.

Having recently renovated my basement as a functional home office/game room, I wanted to keep everything sleek and organized. With my TV mounted to the wall, I didnt want to have any furniture underneath it, so I looked into what my options were. I stumbled across the #afterHIDEit hashtag, and was very impressed with what people were doing with these mounts. Although my setup may not be as complex and fancy as some of the images youll find by searching for photos tagged with that hashtag, the HIDEit mounts I bought for my PS4 Pro and controllers keep my office organized, and my gaming items out of the way. Suffice to say, Im very happy with these products, and how cool them make my TV wall look.

This is so perfect and extremely helpful to keep your living room organized and still have your system available to play at any time. It is super easy toinstall, literally like 5 minutes or less. I am really happy of how it turned out, just what I was looking for.

The first thing it did was scratch the skin I have on my PS4. Unfortunately this was a limited edition skin that came with my pre-order for The Last Of Us, so I cant replace it. On the other hand, the skin did protect my PS4 from scratching, so I guess we can say it did its job. I can get it in now that weve bent the end on the front a bit, but obviously that created room to move and it doesnt feel safe. As I am based in the Netherlands, I cant return it because we bought it when on a trip. But I am not putting my PS4 in it again. I might try to tape it, so it is padded and a little more snug, but the metal that I thought was cool ends up being not so good......
