You need an analog meter now and then in the shop and my old, cheapy one let the ghost go. This one is really solid, and quite accurate! You will definitely not go wrong with this in your arsenal!

First meter that arrived was used, not new. Had scratch on dial face, leads not tied up neatly, no instruction manual. Returned for replacement.

Although multimeters have gotten smaller in size, this one fits the bill as a replacement of an older unit I had for many years. Like the idea of several testing cords that comes with it. Great idea.

I received it I am using it with no problems. It seems to be of good quality. Only time will prove otherwise.

Was looking for a well built affordable analog multimeter. The unit is very well built, a bit lighter than I expected. The plastic case is a bit thin, but it does the job to protect the multimeter. The unit has a great size, big enough for good reading, but adequate for portability.

Hioki designed only the most basic functions in this analog meter, but it does those functions quite well.

The name Hioki speaks for itself. A top shelf multimeter made in Japan, not China! Well built, easy to read and understand mirrored scale. The probes at the end of the test leads are hard gold plated, and are interchangeable to longer probes if need be. This multimeter is one of my top five recommended.

I have several multimeters on my bench. Both analog and digital, but this Hioki analog multimeter is the one I use most often. The quality of construction and measurement accuracy are superb. I like it!
