Did not come close to working. Had to take my computer to a repair shop to fix.

My laptop kept on showing me an error message and it would reboot just to turn on to the same error message. I looked around my area for a tech and it was a least $80 to check my computer. I bought this for $20 and received this product within a day! I followed the instructions and plugged in the USB drive first, waited about 7 min. It showed me Hirens Window 10, took off the USB drive, shut off my computer and I insterd the CD, followed the instructions once more and within 5 min I was able to recover my files and everything else!!!! I am so grateful I found this product, saved me SOME $$$

They are very hard to understand if you are not a techie. I tried You tube tutorial and was still lost afterwards. These are not easy to use if you are not a techie or under 40 years old.

Apparently my hard drive was beyond this simple repair. This quick fix is probably for minor computer boot repairs like reesrablishing the FAT sector. I used chkdsk for over 11 hours before it read hard drive is unrecoverable. My situation was severe

I had ordered the giddens CD disc and USB stick did not fix what it says going to fix I requested a manual because the instruction sheet did not follow through with instructions so the technical support fell to deliver the manual after four requests and would not refund because the software was opened. My question is how do you know its going to work or not work if you dont open it and put it in your computer. Think twice before ordering software from this company!!

I put it in I followed all the on screen instructions. Wasted hours of my time . was not even able to retrieve any of my files on the computer. It still does not start up without the disk. But when it does start up with the disk you cant do anything with it

It did not completely work to Reset my main log in password. It was able to reset the guess users pw but not the main one to log in. No Support or Customer Service information provided at all. I had to use the Windows Reset to Factory mode and sacrifice personal data loss. Unfortunately, it didnt work for what I needed it for but there are other features/tools to this software that I might need in the near future.
