Hitachi 6696549 T/CG24EASPSL Air Cleaner Assembly

I used this as a replacement for the original piece on my Hitachi leaf blower. The original assembly was not latching close anymore which was a problem during start-up. This assembly worked perfectly. Happy with the purchase.

It is an exact fit (replacement).

This was easy to replace. An animal ( I suspect a rat) chewed my last one. Removed and replaced. Started up on the 4th pull.

I purchased my blower from a pawn shop for $20 because it was missing this piece. With it becoming harder to find reputable small engine mechanics with a good turn around time, I decided to DIY this. This item was delivered at 11:15. By 11:30 I’m finished installing and writing this review. It was a breeze to install as it’s only 2 screws and like one other reviewer said it does come with the filter. Be careful with the hoses and gasket if you plan to reuse. (I was careful) Also since it comes with a fuel bubble, ensure you pop the old one out of the other device if it’s still good. Now I’m on my way back to that same Pawn Shop to purchase another blower for $19 with a bad bubble and some other pieces that I will be ordering.

Too expensive

Repaired my line trimmer with this, the ethanol in the local gasoline and not draining out the fuel for the winter/off-season lead to the OE line rotting and eventually it couldnt feed the carb. While at it, replaced it so the primer bulb would be new, expecting years of service ahead.

Fit my weed eater at a reasonable price. My primer bulb had cracked, this was only slightly more than a new primer bulb, I decided Id rather replace the entire assembly with a new part than just the primer bulb.
