Hitachi 6696572 Recoil Starter Body Assembly

Didnt like that there wasnt a picture of the back side of the part. Would have been very helpful.

Mine had the wrong coupling for my blower. Caution, one bad move and the spring will unravel and youre done. Thats why I didnt return it... Not as easy a swap as I hoped, and Im an experienced mechanic.

fit great but the pull string could be a little longer.

Worked perfectly.

Wrong part for device

Represented it to fit the model we own but it doesnt and making us pay postage to ship back for a refund.

Was supposed to be a made fit for my blower. Inner parts didnt match up

... and they were right. Correct part according to specs but spun uselessly inside starter mechanism without grabbing. It looked right and installed easily but was ultimately a waste of time and money.

--- This part DOES NOT FIT ALL RB24EAPs!!!!! ---- Please Check the bottom side of your old Pull Start before ordering. The Pic attached is of the INCOMPATIBLE shaft. I spent over 3 hours of my time on the phone with taking the part on / on and on the phone Hitachi Corporate to find out there was a design change for the RB24EAP and this is NOT the correct part number. I also spent 15 mins trying to talk to Kendra at Kansas Golf (me, explaining the whole hitachi story politely) DID NOT THINK WAVING THE POSTAGE FEE was warranted in this situation. because we have sold 30 or so with only a few returns... She did inform me that hidden somewhere in the more info button in the alternate seller list that another part is required to use this on some RB24EAPs I dont believe pulling the shaft apart to affix another retro-fit part to be a n OEM solution. Hitachi Corporate agreed to fix my blower for me since the part is on national back-order / Not available. It is unfortunate that Kansas City Golf felt this was the correct way to handle this event. While this part may work for Tanaka blowers out of the box. REPEAT!! IT DOES NOT WORK ON ALL RB24EAPs!! Hopefully my review will save other peoples valuable time.....

Tried it out but did not work ,gave all info on my machine this bolted on but did not work !
