The only thing I didnt like about this product was that the button you push to turn on the garbage disposal is a little hard to do but other than that great for the price it worked very well and Powerful.

Even with it being very straight forward and easy to install it would have be helpful to have installation instructions concluded with the package.

Seeing that a lot of people drill through the counter top to install these air switches, I decided to hide mine under the sink -- so you have to open the door under the sink to push the button. Works for me and if it breaks I wont have a hole in my counter to deal with. Air switch seems safer than a regular switch with wet hands, so I like it.

You dont have to know much to install this. Very straightforward. As long as you garbage disposal comes with the cord on it already. If not, you will have to do a little electric work for the garbage disposal to plug into the part. Outside of that, you shouldnt have any problems.

Okay, its the little things that make the day a winner! Our disposal had a light switch on/off function inside the bottom cabinet. What a huge PIA to keep opening the cabinet, bending over, leaning inside the reach the switch...yeah, first world problems, I know, but still. This kit is a life-changer! We did have an electrician install it, so I cant speak to ease of installation (although he did say it was very easy). It works like a champion! We had one of those stupid soap dispensers in our granite island (hated that, too), which meant the hole was already drilled and ready to go for the button. We removed that receptacle and he installed this kit and voile! A smooth, flat button for the disposal function and no more opening the dumb cabinet to access the on/off. Highly recommend without any cons whatsoever.

This is my second switch of this style. They work great and are easy to install. Saves me from hiring an electrician to put in a wall switch.
