I like this bag. It has many pockets and a padded one for the laptop. One thing it has that you might not find on other bags is a handle on the top of the bag that makes it a lot easier to carry in your hand when not on your back. It includes an Usb connector wire that is snaked to the outside of the bag. I assume this USB connection could be used for connecting a power pack to your cell phone if you needed to use it while its being charged. I would like to see the same bag with the option of paying a primer price for metal connectors and metal zippers to give the bag longer life. The plastic connectors and zippers have a tendency to crack and break over time. Its just the nature of plastic. Otherwise, this is a bag I would recommend to anyone in the market for a new bag.

This bag is designed for traveling and has many features that will make people happy. The laptop sleeve is good and the padding throughout the bag will protect items within. There is a slight downside to the padding in that it makes the bag a little heaver for daily commuting. The power cable system within the bag is interesting - it allows a traveler to connect a power brick internally and connect a device outside the bag to have power. The bag does not have compartments to separate items like another travel bag I have. I do like internal straps and compartments (most of which are configurable and can be used or not used). This bag does not quite have these features. I was surprised t the depth of the toiletry pocket - it is deep and perhaps a bit inconvenient for the kinds of things I travel with. I would normally but these items in their own storage bag anyway - but the material may make wet items safer if they leaked during travel. The internal compartments Another travel bag feature that seems to be missing is to be able to stuff the shoulder straps within a compartment and use the upper handle instead. I do like being able to stow shoulder straps within a bag so there are fewer ways to catch the bag when carrying it. I tend to like travel bags that zip all the way around the side as the access is better than from the top of the bag. This is definitely a top loading bag - good for school and work days, but less great for traveling with clothing. I would like some areas of the bag that either zipper closed or have a Velcro flap that would keep small items secure, or a leash for keys. The bag is a good size for a day or two trip - depending on what is needed. It would work as a carry on bag for short trips on airline flights. I like the small hidden pocket on the strap side of the bag. I think it would be safer to carry items there and convenient to access. Compression straps on the outside are useful.

This bag is the perfect size for a spirit or frontier (or United these days) flight, just a cm too large in a couple directions. My other bag is 2 inches too tall, so having a bag that is actually the right size is great. And there are zippered pockets everywhere. Having a pocket against the back is a must for valuables like a passport or kindle, especially when you arent allowed a purse. There is also a pocket on the shoulder strap so you can tuck a credit card, or license and ticket, so you dont need to pull the bag off and go looking for these little items. The waterproof pocket is such a nice touch too, meant for toiletries but could also be used for dirty clothes in a pinch (like gym or swimwear). The phone charger actually comes with a cord, which I dont think Ive ever seen before (you still need to provide the power source). And, my biggest deal breaker, it has a luggage strap. All bags should have a luggage strap. I think this bag is really thoughtful and I really like using it.

All the things to love about this bag: 1. Compact size fits under seat cabin, but still roomy enough to fit everything you need. 2. Laptop compartment is easy to access and has smaller padded compartment for tablet plus room for paper, files, etc. 3. Main compartment zips all the way down on both sides for easy packing and access. Thus giving the utility of a carryon back rather than a deep pocket of a traditional backback. Main compartment also has many smaller pockets for organization. 4. There are two accessible pockets on the front as well as a safer/less accessible zipped pocket on the back for valuables. 5. Entire back is waterproof material. 6. Final plus is the horizontal strap on the back to let you slip the backpack over the handle of a rolling suitcase.

I will definetly be using this pack on my short orvernight trips. This is a light but tough bag that will hold a laptop, change of clothes, personal items and more. All the zippers work great and stay put shut.

Ive been looking for a new travel bag, and am really impressed with this one. First, I love the hidden pocket on the back thats well incorporated with the padding - perfect for passport, money, credit cards - anything small that you dont want stolen. The laptop pocket is well padded but not too tight. Theres a whole wet pouch area. The main compartment opens fully and has several pockets. There are two generously sized front pockets. A few drawbacks (that you may or may not care about): No place to stow shoulder straps. No side carry options. Only one narrow water bottle/umbrella pocket. Narrow pocket for power bank. 2 of the 3 large compartments only unzip halfway down the side. Tablet pocket is on the small side. Not expandable. In all, this bag is a great option if none of the drawbacks are important to you. No bag can include everything, so its all about finding the one with the options you want/need.

I got this laptop backpack in the beige color, it looks very lovely and has nice textured zipper pulls. The outer pockets are very convenient for your cell phone and passport / boarding pass when going through airport security. Then (going front to back) there is a pocket behind it thats just one deep pocket with no organization inside, it has silvery plasticky lining sort of like a cooler bag. I see that they are marketing it as a compartment for toiletries, but without any organization, I dont know about that. Its literally one huge deep pocket, I think it would be extremely inconvenient to fish things out of it, especially when dealing with travel-size toiletries. Plus the zippers on this pocket only open down to the middle of the backpack, not all the way. Then its the main compartment, which does have some pockets for organization inside, as well as the charger cable. That is the only compartment of the backpack where the zippers open all the way. The pocket for the battery is a flat pocket thats 3.5 wide, so it would have to be a pretty compact power bank. And then there is the laptop compartment, which also has a pocket for I guess a tablet, but its only about 8 inches wide so my 13 tablet wouldnt fit in it, although my Kindle would. The padded laptop pocket is exactly 12 wide. The zippers on the laptop compartment also open only halfway. The handle feels very hard, and has a cheap feel to it, like they stuffed it with plastic bags or something. However the shoulder straps are much softer. There is no organization anywhere in the backpack for smaller items like pen or credit card slots, and there is NO KEY LEASH (or loop or clip or anything). When traveling, I for one feel much safer knowing my house keys are securely held inside rather than just rattling around. Since the dimensions arent mentioned anywhere in the description, Ill specify them here: the backpack is 18 tall, 13 wide and 8 deep. I dont think thats anywhere near 40 liters (I looked it up, and that amount of cubic inches actually translates to 30 l), but as an underseat bag for flying these are precisely the dimensions I am looking for. So I guess my true overall rating is around 3.5 stars maybe?.. This would have been a 5-star backpack though with some organizational improvements and if the handle didnt feel so cheap.
