Honeywell HEPA Air Purifier Filter R, 3-Pack for HPA 100/200/300 and 5000 Series - Airborne Allergen Air Filter Targets Wildfire/Smoke, Pollen, Pet Dander, and Dust

Great except I bought for my HPA300 (large room) and the pre filters don’t fit. I blame this on honeywell but just wanted to share in case someone was using for HPA300. The R-filters are fine, it’s the A pre filters which do not work. It blows my mind that honeywell thinks it is sufficient to say prefilter type “A” for all these different models yet fails to mention that the A filters are sized differently for each model. The R filters are compatible with HPA200 and 300, naturally one would assume that would be the case with A filters, right? Wrong. It literally makes no sense.

Working well

I am sure they are authentic and sealed perfectly in thick plastic bag. Very happy with the filters fitting my 5300 perfectly. Really helps allergies I had it off till I got a chance to get new filters. I’m picky and I like when I can tell no one else had the product and returned it. Especially a filter.

They came in the real box, not a dupe.

So previously Ive bought 3rd party HEPA filters that are compatible with HPA300. It was cheaper than the official one and I thought it was going to be ok. But it seems like their quality control must be terrible because the last one I bought, started to cause a terrible smell that gave me really bad headaches and dizziness. After replacing them with these official ones, the smell started to go away over time but when I compare it to other HPA300 that I only used the official ones, it definitely has a hint of burnt paper smell where as other ones are totally odorless. So dont be like me. Buy the official one and keep your air purifier smell like nothing.

I have long been a fan of Honeywell products. The air handler filters they make are wonderful. These HEPA filters are easy to install, they do a great job at filtering out the bugs.
