I used these to attach a 37lb awning to the stock FJ Cruiser roof rack. With a little planning and aluminum bar stock, I ended up with a nice clean installation that I can quickly detach and reattach. Took the rig off-roading and camping for 3 days and the awning didnt move. Most folks just leave their awnings attached and I did not want that. The matte finish is great and the rubber lining kept my roof rack from getting scratched up. I was not a big fan of the Alan head screws. They were a little hard to tighten and the screws seem like they should be larger diameter. Other than that, this is a great product and great price compared to other similar items.

If these mounts didnt exist, I would have made life much more difficult. Highly versatile clamps that you can find a use for just about any quirky mounting solution needed on round tubes. The 1.5 inch clamps fits like a glove, the perfect thickness that wraps around my tubes for a strong clamp. Ive bought 3 boxes of this so far. I use them for custom mounting options from mounting showers and awnings to using them for miscellaneous mounting holes.

Fit great on factory rack.

Supposed to fit a 1.75 tube but do not. With the rubber inerts they are too small, without they are too large. Very solid and exactly what I wanted - except they dont fit.
