So, I bought these for my 3 year old just to give her a strength, balance and coordination advantage. I must say, these skates are REAL! They are heavy and just like regular skates. Now, can she skate in them right now? Nope, not at all. But, they are great in having because they grow with her, they secure her ankles very well, and they come in a carrying bag that even makes her feel like a big girl. I love this purchase and would recommend them for sure.

My daughter loves these! She is just learning how to skate and has had a blast being able to ride around on these. She is still learning but she loves the lights and they seem to ride very smoothly.
