I bought this a year ago. it has never been right. the sleep feature does not work. the mouse does not work consistently. i have used task master to try to clean it up but to no avail. I just did reinstall hoping that would help and it did not. now all the horrid work to clean it up yet again. do not waste your time. never HP again.

Needed a computer to work from home. Most coworkers have a laptop but I always liked desktops better. I went for this all in one version instead and I absolutely love it. Its fast! Perfect for word processing and spreadsheets plus web applications. The 23 screen is bright and clear, great display. Very pleased with this purchase. Took very little time to set it up too.

I purchased this computer to simplify and compensate for the small workspace I now have. The most important part for me was that it came installed with the basic Microsoft Office, as stated multiple times throughout the Specifications. Yes it does, but only for a free 3 month trial. After that there is a monthly fee to use it... or you can use the online version for free, but each time you want to open or create a document, you have to go through multiple screens just to get to the program online. At that point everything works through the cloud. (Even just to open a pre-existing document you can view any of your documents, but cannot edit / add to anything without paying the fee or go through the cloud. Its very misleading, very frustrating, time consuming, inconvenient and very disappointing. Had I known that at the time of purchase, I dont believe I wouldve purchased this computer. Its unfortunate, because it is a very good computer and very user friendly.

HP customer service is the worst! I bought this item, and, within the first 5 weeks, it went black on the screen. I had to travel 60 miles round trip to mail it back to them, in the carton, HP provided. It was over a 2 week wait to have it returned to me. It only stayed fixed for a few more weeks. Now I cant get the right department, to return it to them, once again. The screen goes black intermittently, sporadically. I give up. I love the large screen, but, other than that, I think its a waste of money. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone. I am HUGELY disappointed, and I juts hope the screen stays on. ARRGGH!

Bought this for my wife whose technical skills are zero. She has never had a computer of her own, either using second-hand old computers of mine, or borrowing my current computer. After I set it up for her (and showed her where the power switch is) she uses it at least 4 hours a day mostly for playing games. It has the power of my much larger computer even though it takes up a quarter of the desk space mine does. The screen definition is excellent and larger than the average. Some people mistake it for an iMac (God forbid)

I am very happy with the design of the computer. It is thin and looks great. The 24 screen is bright and has a good resolution. I find the speed to be adequate as well. The set up was easy, and I was able to get it set up the way I wanted almost immediately. It was much quicker than I thought it would be. If I had a complaint it would be that the DVD drawer on the side seems to be a little flimsy. I feel like I have to be extra careful with it. I like the keyboard but not the mouse. Probably just a personal preference. Otherwise, I am very happy with my purchase.

Id like a touch screen and the picture on zoom is a bit grainy, but not that bad. Otherwise, it serves my purposes.

It arrived today and I was able to disconnect a 2014 HP desktop model that still worked but was getting slow and untidy. This is perfect for our needs and so much faster and set up so easily. So far we are very happy,
