> 3 dayThis came for free with my computer. And I can see why they were giving it away. It is awful. It jams constantly. Every time I have a print job I have to wait for it to jam, fix it, and then try again. I am going to go buy a new one this one is so frustrating. I am so glad I did not pay for it, do yourself a favor and dont bother.

Greater than one weekThis an older printer from 2008-9 model years. We purchased it for our company because of the printer cartridge. We have other printers using the same cartridge and thought it would be easier to stock only one style cartridge. The original printer sent to use was a mistake due to the shipper mixing up their stock due to being in the middle of moving their company. Sometimes as the say, stuff happens! They were very open and honest about what happened and sent out the correct printer immediately. The new printer has worked perfectly and is just what we wanted. Low cost and has been reliable as to this date. Be careful with the type of print cartridge you use though. Going out side of new HP cartridges can sometime make the printer not recognize the new cartridge causing the printer to not work. You get what you pay for in that regards! Other than that, I give the printer 5 stars because for the money its a great value!

> 3 dayThe printer arrived well within the time frame. I was expecting it much later. The printer exceeded my expectations. It has functioned just the way I wanted. Since I owned an HP Deskjet 3940, I thought that the model I purchased was going to be much slower. But, to the contraty, the D1430 has performed at the same level without any problems so far. Thank you very much for suppling my order and sending it fast.

> 3 dayThe HP D1430 Deskjet (inkjet) printer is an overlooked little marvel. When my printer died a few weeks ago I knew it was time to look around for another printer--and this printer was the one for people like me. Sure, its just a printer. It doesnt scan, fax or copy. But, then again, this still makes for an excellent color inkjet printer for young students or anyone like me who is on a budget. There are preliminary instructions that make the initial setup and unpacking of the printer a snap. After that, the setup was still very easy--once I remembered to temporarily disable my firewall and my antivirus software! The printer comes with a CD that has all the software youll need to install and connect this computer to the rest of your PC system. It works with Macintosh computers, too. Just insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive and its practically effortless after that. Youll get a color printer cartridge with the box and a power supply cable; but if yours comes like mine youll still need a USB cable (you may try to use an old one lying around to save a little money first) and you will also need a black ink cartridge. Why HP only gives you a color starter ink cartridge and not a black starter cartridge Ill never know. Good thing I bought a two pack of cartridges at the store before I returned home! The printer takes up very little space; and it prints very, very well in both complex colors and plain old black and white. It can print photos as well if you install the CD that enables the printer to print photos. It also comes with extra CDs that let you make greeting cards and practice your typing skills. Thats a good value! I highly recommend this printer; according to the store manager very few, if any, customers of his ever bring them back for a refund. This printer is best suited for people who just want a value oriented basic, easy to operate color inkjet printer that can still print photos without any major bells or whistles.

> 3 dayI just purchased this printer today. I needed a printer to get by until I have the money to buy a nice wireless printer. This printer is cheap, looks cheap, sounds cheap... but it prints surprisingly well. The most frustrating part of buying this printer, though, was that I had to purchase my own USB cable! Thats just ridiculous.

20-11-2024The HP Deskjet D1430 Printer is no longer being manufactured. The only way to obtain one is to buy a used one. The main reason for my purchasing the HP Deskjet D1430 Printer was because I needed a replacement for the HP Deskjet D1430 Printer I already had. I thought the printer worked very well, so I dont know why HP decided to discontinue it?

Greater than one weekDoes NOT include the required USB printer cable. One of the steps in the instructions, literally, says Purchase a USB cable separately if it is not included. But of course theres plenty of free bloatware bundled inside.
