> 3 dayI just purchased this printer today. I needed a printer to get by until I have the money to buy a nice wireless printer. This printer is cheap, looks cheap, sounds cheap... but it prints surprisingly well. The most frustrating part of buying this printer, though, was that I had to purchase my own USB cable! Thats just ridiculous.

> 3 dayThis printer is extremely compact and the tray even folds into the printer to transport. The print quality is excellent and the speed is good. The only problem I had is that if you load more than 7-10 sheets of paper, it is prone to jamming. So just put in 7 at a time and it will never jam. I used it when I stayed in a dorm for a month and it was perfect for my purposes. I bought it two years ago and its still working perfectly.

> 3 dayThe HP Deskjet D1430 Printer is no longer being manufactured. The only way to obtain one is to buy a used one. The main reason for my purchasing the HP Deskjet D1430 Printer was because I needed a replacement for the HP Deskjet D1430 Printer I already had. I thought the printer worked very well, so I dont know why HP decided to discontinue it?

Greater than one weekDoes NOT include the required USB printer cable. One of the steps in the instructions, literally, says Purchase a USB cable separately if it is not included. But of course theres plenty of free bloatware bundled inside.

> 3 dayIm a college student in my senior year and I have had this printer ever since I was a Freshman in my first semester. And I have to say that it has never failed me once in those 4 years (except once with low ink and leaving it stored up over the summer) It is small and compact which worked perfectly for me when I was in the dorms and still proves to be a positive here in my apartment on its small shelf. Being I have it stored most of the time, I never had more than about 5-10 sheets in the loading tray (no more than what I was needing to print) and have never had an issues with it jamming. As others have noted it is very easy to pack up and take somewhere if you need to travel. Much better than any of the All-in-one printers Ive seen. In my opinion, small and simple has worked perfectly for me over the past 4 years.
