> 3 dayThis is a low quality and poorly made computer! I purchased this notebook less than a year ago to upgrade from my older model HP. Its much lighter and faster than my old one, which is what I was looking for, but now its started to come apart. Its only been lightly used; never dropped, damaged, or had anything heavy set on top of it, but the bottom corner of the screen frame is popping out and the cheap plastic hinge is broken. The more I use it, the worse the problem gets. HP has always been my preferred brand and I had my old HP for eight years without a single hardware/software issue, but they have obviously eliminated quality and durability in newer models. It should still be under a 1-year warranty but HP support conveniently doesnt recognize my serial number as valid and there doesnt seem to be anything I can do about it.

24-11-2024Laptop has expired warranty. Spoke with HP to see if this could be fixed. HP said no as it was “re-sold by an unauthorized seller on Amazon”. The battery is totally defective and I have 0 recourse to get it fixed. I never would have purchased if I knew this “new” laptop had zero warranty. Beware and go for something else. What a headache :-(

Greater than one weekWorks ok for my occasional personal needs. I have a much better laptop that I use for work, and I do most of my work on it. This one just feels cheap. That said, I haven’t had any trouble with my basic needs from it.
