The resolution for text isnt as sharp as on my large iMac when working through Citrix, but the picture quality is good on websites and for photos.

This monitor works well and looks sharp. I wish that you could raise and lower the screen though for people that are different heights. My husband has to slouch a bit unless he raises it on books which is obviously uncomfortable. That is really my only complaint.

I bought this to replace one of two old square Dell monitors at work after a tech upgrade that did not include an upgrade of our monitors. So I needed to find a high quality, wide screen monitor at an affordable price since I was spending my own money. (I am an attorney who spends a lot of time reading and writing so the monitor is not used for gaming.) This was the perfect replacement! It fits nicely on my desk, and the monitor resolution is a big improvement over the old Dell. I use my new laptop monitor and one of the remaining Dell monitors to display work that I dont want hidden under multiple programs. Even though there are two HDMI ports on the back, I only need one port since everything runs through an HP docking station supplied by my work. The one drawback is the inability to raise the new height of the monitor to the ergonomically correct viewing position. I knew this when I bought it but, again, had to sacrifice for price. I simply turned over one of my inbox trays on which to place the monitor to get the perfect height. (The monitor does tilts back and forth which is nice to adjust for glare.) Im really happy with it!

I love this monitor, works very well with no issues. Nice large display and been very durable. Been almost 2 years with still no issues. Currently I have 2 but about to order 1 more to have 3. Great deal that I recommend!

Decent budget monitor for $110, but you do get what you pay for. Its a good monitor for web browsing or email, but not for gaming. It ships by default set to a 60hz refresh rate. If you want to up it to the max (70hz), you have to manually change the settings. For comparison, to the left is a Dell 144hz, 1440p, g-sync monitor. To the right is the HP 27 (70hz, AMD free-sync, 1080p). CONS: -This monitor requires a proprietary HP power cable. You cannot use a standard power cable with this monitor. This is hard if the included power cable isn’t long enough to reach the AC outlet. -It is NOT G-sync compatible. This is AMD Freesync, but because it doesn’t support display port, it’s not compatible with G-sync. -The monitor height cannot be raised up/down, rotated horizontal to vertical. It can only be angled slightly up/down. My Dell monitor can be adjusted in all 3 directions, and that it the only reason I was able to match the viewing angle with this HP 27f. -Monitor stand is wobbly. -The default color settings were a bit bland, I had to switch to Nvidia settings and manually adjust them in the Nvidia control panel. -Silver border on the bottom of the monitor clashes with the black border on the sides and top. -The monitor is NOT VESA compatible. You will need to pay extra for an adapter, if you want to use a third party VESA wall mount or desktop mount. PROS: -Good budget monitor for the price if you’re looking for second or third monitor. Not a good choice for use as a gaming monitor, but excellent monitor for browsing, web surfing, or email. It has gone on sale for $110 several times in the past month. -Thin and light. -IPS vs TN monitor.

Enjoy crisp, colorful picture quality with this Full HD HP monitor. The ultrathin bezel on the 27-inch screen provides an expansive viewing area so you can stay productive, and its AMD FreeSync technology reduces input lag and screen tearing. In addition to a VGA port, This HP monitor has two HDMI ports for connecting gaming consoles and other devices

Stand only, Non-VESA, It isn"t VESA/wall mountable
