For the 600-700 dollar price point this is a very highly specced and featured notebook. You pay a price to meet this price point. It wont match a Dell XPS in thinness or bezel size. They are pretty big. It also is let down by a cheap plastic bottom. Still it spent the money where it matters the screen is fantastic bright and responsive, the keyboard is actually great with tons of travel and good key separation.

Within 9 months the audio input stopped working. In one year the USB port went dead. The keypad is the worst on any of the HPs Ive owned. The touchscreen is fabulous and audio is very good (thats where all of the money spent on this laptop went.

This listing specifically describes the 2021 model. Silver. Backlit keyboard. Fingerprint Scanner. They are sending out the 2020 model which the keyboard doesnt light up, it doesnt have the fingerprint scanner, and its not even the same color! I guess people are too dumb to tell the difference.

Simple complaint. No fingerprint reader while all the marketing splash advertises this feature all over the page.

I purchased this for my daugther, a rising college freshman. Based on the specs of a Pavilion 360 we researched, we believed this to be a good fit for her needs. We purchased with confidence and assurance from the Amazon description. I read the Q/A section and felt reassured this was a good buy. Unfortunately I did not do a deep dive into the reviews (esp the 2/4 star ratings) as I should have. Now that it has arrived and I have completed the unboxing, I realize that this product is slightly different than I expected.

This laptop was a huge disappointment. First off, the mouse is just terribly designed. It has like a matte feel to it, and your finger cannot move smoothly on it and keeps on getting stuck. The battery life is just atrocious, I used it one day for regular use (writing and browsing. no gaming or movies) and the battery didnt even last 3 hours! The laptop itself is not lightweight, and the plug that comes with it is quite clunky and heavy. The battery gets crazy hot from regular use, so you hear the fan turning on every 10 min or so, which is quite annoying. The computer was also slow and kept on buffering, it didnt feel like it has 8 RAM. The only thing I liked in this laptop is the fact that it comes with 3 usb ports. If youre looking for something in this price range, I would recommend the Microsoft surface Go. Although its smaller than the HP (its like 12.4) and only has 2 ports (and also lacks a SD card slot, which is a huge downside), its better than the HP in every way. Its sleeker, nicer, lighter, better performance, Im not sure about battery life yet, but so far it has been 10 steps ahead than the HP in every way. I do not recommend this laptop at all. look somewhere else!

I’m immersed in the Apple ecosystem for personal at home use, but I wanted a separate windows based PC for my new job WFH that would not break the bank. I’m 2 months in using this HP Pavilion. This tablet laptop is performing like a workhorse along with my extra side monitor I.e., zoom calls, multiple windows open, processes running. All my accessories have their needed port, it’s super fast, and the HP support system has been great as well. I haven’t had a single hiccup and expect to get at least 4-5 optimal years of use out of this PC. While I use it in PC mode primarily, using the pen stylist has been very smooth. Very happy with this purchase and WFH has been a breeze.
