> 24 hourI bought mine direct from PC Server and Parts Certified Refurbished website. Theyve got options to customize and even with a hard drive and operating system (which this listing doesnt have) price wise you can come in at close to what this listing is asking for - and they ship for free.

> 24 hourFor a 44lb workstation, they got it here quite quick. I already have a Z620 I use as a VMware ESXi host for my home lab. The riser card died, which reduced me to 1 processor and 64 GB of RAM. The backplane cabling for hotswap bay 2 was dying and the drive would disappear every 2-4 weeks.

> 24 hourI already owned a Z620 before and this is one impressive workstation computer so naturally I wanted a second one to replace a failing desktop computer. The one I received Stallion Tek was as clean and as pristine as the first one I had bought from another vendor. The word on the street is they are seeing a second life after being used as servers for Facebook. These are big, powerful machines that cost ten times more when new and the dual processor and multiple-cores combined with the copious ECC memory make them ideal for video (Adobe After Effects is a killer) and 3D rendering such as Poser or Daz3D or as a gaming machine.

> 24 hourWhile this computer isnt new, it feels powerful to me. Compared to my old computer, it is very quiet. It is using a fraction of its total resources (Memory usage is hovering around 3% compared to mid-80% before, CPU usage is 0%-1% compared to 70-84% before, etc) using this machine as I used the old one. Even though I used an old hard drive for the initial test run, it still seems to run faster than my old system with a newer SSD. My workstation came with an optical drive (it wasnt an advertised feature, but I like it!), a couple of video adapters, and a wifi dongle that are also very helpful. It seems clear to me that the seller is working hard to provide quality workstations.

> 24 hourThis thing spins circles around any of my previous rigs. I bought this for the sole purpose of rendering animations in Maya. However, I quickly adapted my office setup to center this machine as my daily driver. One thing I really appreciate is the efficiency of the 2670 Xeon processors. At max CPU usage, this 16-core system creates less heat (and eats less electricity) than my two other 8-core rigs. An important aspect, since I leave my main system up and running for the majority of the day.

> 24 hourI am happy with this machine. I installed Ubuntu Server 18.04 and kvm/libvirt on it and am running a bunch of virtual machines on it. I dont really intend to use it as a desktop, but I might when my current desktop dies (HP wx6600, another beast from long ago...) Its probably about 20 times faster than my wx6600 on the same workload, so its nice for software development.

> 24 hourI work in cybersecurity and have a need for something that can run 2 or 3 VMs at one time, and this absolutely fit the bill. The HDD slots made loading drives so easy, and the case is intuitive and easy to work with. The system itself runs well, I havent had any issues with it. I currently have it running Win 2016 server and VMWare Player Pro.

> 24 hourThis is pretty quiet. Added SSD and it just flyers. Very happy with it. When I need something similar in the future I will come back.

> 24 hourI have no problem behind the curve if it comes with 96G of RAM and 32 cores.
