I purchased these as blossom bags for my plants. They are very lightweight, and the material is stiff - it forms perfectly around blossoms without touching them or squishing them. Its sheer and very finely woven, so pollen and bugs will have a very difficult if not impossible time getting through, but sunlight, air and fluids get through and the bag doesnt compress.

Exactly what I wanted.

I use these bags in a slightly different way than intended. After placing half a bar of the very fragrant Irish Spring soap in each bag, I hang them among my beautiful tomato plants in a bid to keep the ravenously hungry squirrels at bay. Before I got these bags, the squirrels were eating unripe tomatoes right off my plants, and now that Ive used these surprisingly sturdy gift bags to hang forty pieces of soap throughout the tomatoes, the squirrels have totally given up! Im quite pleased with my purchase.

I have a number of small pumps in my garden pond and algae and other stuff collects on the intakes. I thought Id try these guys as covers since they were less expensive than the covers made for water pumps. Im super happy with these. They work great and are cheap enough to just toss once they get filthy.
