HTC Vive Controller (2018) & Vive Tracker (3.0)

One of my original HTC Vive controllers stopped working (the thumb tracker) after hundreds of hours of play and years of use. I bought this as a replacement and it works great! Now I have one original/old controller and this new one. The new one works so well, it’s a noticeable difference. It was easy to set up and I haven’t had an issue in the few months I’ve been using it.

My last controller seems to have died from right trackpad disease where it gets stuck and is unresponsive, ultimately getting to the point where it wont even sync to my computer anymore, however I bought this controller refurbished and it feels like using a brand new one, its been through quite a bit of use already and has not suffered the same fate as my original.

Do not buy these. Decade old Wii technology has better tracking than these. Buttons are terribly placed for VR, due to constantly hitting menu buttons. The grip does not feel good. Any amount of sweat will make it feel like theyre falling out of your hands. The seller also has really bad return policy. If these break on you or you realize how terrible they are, they will not give you a refund. If you do buy these, I wish you luck

Excellent condition,no visible scratch and work out of the box.

Bought a used one in supposedly good condition but when I received the controller I found that the thing was busted and looked like someone had chewed on it. It turns on and connects but doesnt track wouldnt reccomend getting used ones

Bought HTC Vive many years ago, then bought a Vive Pro HMD, now had to buy a new set of controllers. The old ones were having power issues where the charge doesnt last very long anymore. Also, one of them has a pad that is glitchy and one of the pad buttons doesnt register clicks consistently. Next up, Im expecting the base stations to blow out on me.

Great tracking, less battery life than previous version.

Good but not as good as stick controllers like oculus or index knuckles. Price is also steep just for one controller. Grip controllers are so stiff that pressing them you have to press un so hard
