I got these to replace broken glass in a picture frame. They work well enough for that purpose.

i use these in my dogs kennel because he tends to get mad and hike his leg when he is put in there and pees on the floor. i installed these so his pee ends up in the kennel which he does not like and it has stopped him from hiking his leg when he is put in there. would recommend.

Product - HTVRONT Plexiglass Sheets - 11x14 Acrylic Sheets Clear Shatterproof Plastic Sheet, Lightweight Plexiglass Sheet Glass Alternative for Picture Frame, Event Signs, DIY Projects (10 Pack) (B0BQ356VCF) I got these plexiglass sheets as replacements for glass in my frames. It sure weighs less than glass. Theres a paper with these sheets that said PET SHEET. I had to look up PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) - duh. I used an Acrylic Cutter (lots are available on our favorite site) to try cutting the 11 x 14 sheet. I only needed to score the mark-to-cut a few times and then snapped it the rest of the way. No issues - phew.

Acrylic signs look great, but those pieces of acrylic can be both expensive and heavy. I wouldnt call these sheets plexiglass or acrylic; both suggest an inflexible, thicker piece of plastic more resembling glass. Thats not these. These sheets are thin to the point of being a little floppy. Theyre perfect for sticking on a wall, framing, or anything else thats going to provide some rigid structure, but they dont have that rigidity on their own. They will, however, behave like their more sturdy cousins. (Meaning, you can go crazy with your Cricut, paint on them, etc.) The good news is that theyre lightweight, you can cut them fairly easily, and once you peel the protective layer off both sides, theyre super-clear. The bad news is that theyre also pretty easy to scratch so you need to handle (and store) with care. Still, the price point is great, so these babies open up some options that would potentially be cost-prohibitive with acrylic.
