This works well. I leave it plugged into my RV. Reads constant voltage and it lights up. Just plug it in.

Knowing the volts in the rv when plugged in at the campground is better than being blissfully ignorant and possibly damaging electric items such as AC. I watched the meter go from 124 to 112 in a recent campground; it varied depending on how many rigs were on the system and their power usage.
