> 24 hourUnit will not recognize T-mobile SIM card. So, Huawei APP was useless as well. Wasted my time trying all different ways to configure it. Watched several different YouTube videos, nothing worked. T-mobile will not give you Mobile Hotspot SIM for free to try, you will need to purchase their WiFi Mobile Hotspot plan. Your phone SIM card will not work, you will need specially configured WiFi Mobile Hotspot SIM.

> 24 hourI am generally okay with this product as it works to give me usable internet on the go and at home. I have two complaints though, battery life and network reception. If not plugged in, the battery life is only a few hours of continuous use so if Im traveling, I take an external charger or its plugged into my laptop. As far as the reception goes, what I get directly on my phone (not connected to the wifi pod) is always considerably higher than what I get when connected to the pod; this is true for indoors or even outdoors standing within clear site of cell towers. Now Im back on Amazon looking for the antenna that can be purchased separately and plugged into it to improve connection but cant find info on it online...

> 24 hourI bought this Huawei E5577-321 mobile hotspot for a trip to France. In France, I bought a sim from a Bouygues Telecom shop called “My European SIM” that was targeted to tourists which cost €39.90. This sim included 20GB and unlimited local calls/SMS in Europe for 30 days. I just had to insert the SIM and after a few minutes, the hotspot registered on the mobile network. I was able to connect to the hotspot with the SSID and WIFI key that is on the back of the device and also in the menu located under “Device Info” and was automatically connected to the internet. The APN was automatically setup and I didn’t have to enter anything into the device. I did setup my own SSID just for fun and it wasn’t too difficult if you’ve ever setup a Wi-Fi router at home. The connection was great. There were a few areas in Paris with low signal or slow internet speed but that’s to be expected just like any mobile network.

> 24 hourI would never buy a Hauwei product since it purely Chinese, and with China engaged in theft of intellectual properties. Devices from this manufacturer its guaranteed that monitoring from all their telecommunications products will feed the Chinese IT GOV. BUY BEWARE, ANYTHING SHARED ON THESES DEVICES WILL BE COMPROMISED.

> 24 hourThis thing saved me from having to purchase an international plan with my cellular provider. Used in The Philippines where pocket WiFi is the primary source for internet across the country. Worked as advertised as long as there was a cellular signal and was able to send messages, make WiFi calls, and use apps. The device does get hot after about 30 mins of use but didn’t seem to interfere with functionality. As with phones, can get tricky when trying to find the best signal and actually climbed a tree at one point to get 4bars of 4G lol. No buyer’s remorse here, this was a great purchase.
