Huberd’s Leather Dressing with Neatsfoot Oil - Leather conditioner that softens new leather and restores dry and hardened leather boots, shoes, bags, belts, baseball gloves, saddles, tack and harness.

I like that this only has a slight oil odor. I used it to help break in a pair of work boots that even after two weeks of wear would not give. I also used it to soften up some suspender button tabs. Eight ounces is a lot of oil. I expect this can to last a while. The can warns that it will darken leathers of a lighter color.

Great stuff. Ive been using it for over sixty years and it works. If it didnt I wouldnt still be using it!

Though advertised as Huberds Leather Dressing Neatsfoot Oil 8 oz., I received Huberds Boot and Saddle Soap 8 oz.. I used about a 3rd of the plastic bottle before I realized it was not neatsfoot oil as advertised (my fault for not reading the label first). I guess the saddle soap is good but its not what I bought, so its only one star.

Be mindful this product darkens leather. I use the leather dressing on the leather soles of my shoes and boots. Very good product!

Great stuff! Salvaged a totally crapped out, cracked and brittle Brooks saddle. And my bleached out, dry topsiders are back in service.

This seems to be pretty much standard authentic Neatsfoot oil. It softens leather and makes it flexible. Once a season I gently scrape and rub off much of my mink oil and wax and apply this. After this soaks in and dries I put the wax and oils back on and continue to do that about every other week throughout the season.

We have a leather couch, and all 3 spots power recline. The couch is about a year old, and the noise of the leather rubbing when you recline was seriously annoying. It got worse over time, and made us want to stop using it. I came to Amazon looking for leather care products, and after reading the reviews, purchased this. I didnt even care how it changed the appearance, I just wanted to make the racket stop! I am sitting in my silent, shiny and beautiful couch as I write this to tell you dont hesitate - this stuff is awesome!

The product is great, the carrier or delivery company not so much. In Australia if you live in the city the shippers are great, in the country you are at the mercy of the lowest bid. UPS got it to Australia, but instead of giving it to the mail carrier, they handed it to the worst lowest bid shipping company in Australia, whom frankly cant find either cheek with both hands and a map and a GPS. StarTrack is the absolute worst and Auspost is the best, Oh how I wish UPS would learn, it took 14 business days and over 20 phone calls for the parcel to travel 10 miles.

My dad has used this product for well over 20 yrs. in fact his last pair of work boots he bought in the mid 90s before retiring in 2003 are still going strong thanks to this product. You would think the leather would be dried & cracked by now, but it isnt. Ill bet nobody could guess they are over 20 yrs. old, having only replaced the laces & the soles.
