> 24 hourThis is a great product. I purchased it to use, I purchased it, to use on a 100 year old doctors bag, I inherited. This is one of the finest products to soften leather. Regards, Larry P. Burton II

> 24 hourI have used this leather dressing for more years than I want to count. I am still using virtually ALL of the leather work items from those days of long ago, to this day. I can only attribute that longevity to the routine use of this oil. From sport specific gloves and boots, to knife sheaths. If this oil can penetrate even the oldest, driest, leather, it breathes new life into to the item. I know of no negatives associated with Huberds Neatsfoot Oil Leather Dressing when used for what it was made for.

> 24 hourMany years ago while growing up my brothers and I treated our beloved baseball gloves with Neatsfoot oil - ah the memories - I just treated my 50+ year old mitt and it worked just like before - great, old school product!

> 24 hourSo far VERY effective at restoring luster to old leather without damaging by excessive application force ( like spreading mink oil ) and Ive used it on a new gun belt that seemed kind of naked, gave it a nice glow and definitely soaked in. I will keep a can in my gunsmithing shop forever.

> 24 hourAt first I was really happy with this product. It turned some older leather products (jacket and boots) into very nice looking and supple feeling products again. It does darken brown leather products noticeable, but I actually liked the change. The feel was also improved and the boots and jacket looked almost new again. Both the jacket and boots were re-coated in about a year as they lightened in color and again the results were very good to excellent. I thought i had found the best leather care product ever. The problem I have experienced is that I now have multiple stitching failures on the jacket. I had one repaired only to then have several more. The stitching is failing now in multiple different points of the jacket. The boots, also have a stitching failure now. After searching for an answer, it appears that some stitching may be damaged by some neatsfoot oil compounds. This product is not pure neatsfoot oil. Spend a few minutes with Google searching for stitching issues with neatsfoot compounds I am now trying mink oil, but it is too late for the jacket and boots. If I had some piece of leather without stitching (some belts maybe) I would use this product. Otherwise, use at your own risk.

> 24 hourI used this to restore an old brown leather motorcycle jacket and it worked perfectly. It darkened the leather which is fine by me. After drying and sitting for a day you could not see any blotchy patches from the oily treatment. The oil soaks in well over 24 hours and looks uniform across the leather jacket surfaces. The leather jacket is much softer now. Again, it did darken the leather but it pretty much restored the same dark brown color the jacket had when first purchased years ago.
