The shelf is great. Perfect, even. A wonderful value. The hardware that comes with it is toy-grade. I should have read the reviews before I installed it. But as soon as I started to drive the first screw in the wall, it stripped the head and then the head broke off. So what was a 10 minute project involved me attempting to get the screw out — I didn’t have an extractor. Had to essentially cut it out of the wall. Spackle several times. Repaint the wall. And move the whole setup so I could put the bar in another spot. I used my own screws that time and it was a 5 minute job and the end result is great. Still buy it, but throw their screws away immediately.

After spending all your savings on a new Sonos Beam you want to mount it on a wall. This wall mount is inexpensive and does its job well. Look no further.

Should be stronger- there is flex in the bracket when the beam is attached. So the beam isn’t level front to back.

Could be a little more aesthetically pleasing

I used a universal bracket from Mount-it to install it above my tv.

I’m not handy at all but this thing was super simple to install, it looks good, well constructed, and saved me twenty bucks. I had it up and going in less then 10 minutes. Just used a leveler, mounted the Mount to the wall, put the speaker on, move it till it’s centered, and tightened down. I have no concern that my beam is going to end up on the floor as I put some weight on the bar to confirm stability. In my situation, my studs were too far apart so I used one stub and one dry wall anchor. Do yourself a solid and buy this mount I.e save the 20 more dollars the “official” one is going to charge you. Truth be told they probably outsource it to someone and out their stamp on it. P.s ignore the wire mess, that’s my next thing to tackle now the bar is mounted.

Sonos Beam mount was easy to install and came with everything we needed to attach it to the wall. Good product, great price and was as described on product page.
