> 3 dayi got tired of buying those humidifiers with the little round white cottonish filter inside. i ve been buying those pieces of crap for tons of years to travel with.. and whenever i get where im going, those things that took up space in my luggage do not work.. i had just bought a very popular one & it was brand new.. never used (cost about $45).. when i got to the other country it didnt work. Theres either something wrong with that hole the mist comes out of getting clogged, The Battery wont charge, or issues with those filters. But even when they do start out working, they konk out quickly... i could not send it back, because i kept it in my travel bag for a while before i traveled and needed to use it. It got tossed it in the garbage in the Dominican Republic (Grrrrrrrrrr). So i went on a hunt for a humidifier, that is small, and has a cord (so i would not have the problem of the battery not working or it needing to be recharged before you can use it ). i found this one, and it has very good reviews.. it is NOT charged by USB, it has a chord (check), & DOES NOT NEED A FILTER (Check, Check, CHECK.!!!). so i took the chance. Out the box, it is significantly bigger then i expected.. but not as big as my other that i keep in the house, and also has a cord and is fiilterless. It will take up more space, but can still fit in a travel bag. So the size is not a deal breaker. i put spring water in it.. plugged it in.. and a great BIG MIST came flowing out immediately.. No wait, while you pray it will work (like those other pieces of crap with the filters). Theres a dial where you can adjust the amount of the mist.. & its wonderfully easy to clean. The water does not get depleted quickly (so you can go to sleep and wake up and still find it working).. its really one of those where have you been all my life purchases.

Greater than one weekIt worked really well the first little while that we bought it. Still works great. However, we have had it for maybe two months and have used it every night… and now when we start it for the night it has started making a loud sound like a fan may be giving out, then after a couple minutes it goes away and works (and sounds) fine! We also had to cover up the light because it was pretty bright at night

> 3 dayHumidifier works long and hard for hours. The mist is consistent and cool. Love that so much. It says in its description that it for a baby, but Im an adult with a large bedroom. Ive used every night since I received it.

Greater than one weekThis is a great little machine for the nightstand. It is very quiet, easy to refill/reassemble, and kicks out a good amount of moisture for the small size.

> 3 dayI moved from Georgia to Idaho and have had TERRIBLE problems sleeping because it is so dry here. I would wake up in the middle of the night miserable! I got sick constantly as well. Turns out, I was just severely dried out. This has changed my life!! It’s quiet, (small humming sound) and super easy to refill. I let it run all night and I only have to fill it up every other day or so (and that includes running through half of the day time as well when I get home!) and I haven’t had to clean it yet but I don’t see how it will be an issue. All the parts are super easy and self explanatory. Just sent the link to a friend who hails been here for YEARS and had the same problem- she was just dealing with it! Best $34 I have spent in a while. Nalgene water bottle posted next to it for size comparison, I got the 4L and it’s perfect!

Greater than one weekBought a smaller version from a different company. It broke after two uses. This one is amazing! My youngest can refill the water container and reinstall it independently! The mist comes out cool, but helps so much. My kiddo is prone to bloody noses when the air is dry (so especially in the winter), and using this humidifier has drastically reduced his discomfort. Absolutely recommend.

> 3 dayThis machine does pretty well for making it humid, but my complaints are that it is loud and makes a glugging/bubbling sound when the water refills the bottom of the machine. This wakes me up throughout the night. Also it is a bit hard to line up the tank with the base and can make a little water spill as you try to figure out how to get it on each time. I do like that it is so adjustable, that is a nice feature. I just wish it were quieter and had a bigger water tank.

> 3 dayI invested in an indoor air quality sensor, because I wanted to track how much seasonal wildfire smoke makes it into the house and how well the air filters are doing removing the particulates. After getting this humidifier the Air Quality Index (AQI) readings started suddenly and inexplicably spiking up into yellow in our house each night. The new factor was running this humidifier at night. Humidity doesnt affect the readings on the sensor we own, but I suspected some correlation. I searched the web and found information about Ultrasonic Humidifiers and Indoor Air Quality. This matched what we already observed. We were filling it with clean (I believe) Rocky Mountain municipal tap water. However, whatever is in our water that this thing is atomizing into the air was detected and flagged by our air quality sensor as something we perhaps shouldnt be breathing. Our AQI sensors and humidifier are many rooms apart in opposite sides of a 3K square foot house with high ceilings (lots of air volume). We, on the other hand, are sleeping next to this humidifier. Water that is perfectly safe for drinking does not guarantee something safe for vaping. Steam humidifiers, evaporative furnace humidifiers, and things like shower steam dont make the calcium and various minerals, or whatever else, that is in your water absorbable into your lungs like ultrasonic humidifiers do. Absorbing whatever is in your tap water into your lungs might possibly be benign. However, you probably shouldnt be experimenting on yourself. This is not specific to this brand, this is something all ultrasonic humidifiers do. If we didnt have the AQI sensor, we wouldnt have suspected anything. They say here, Use the water as pure as possible. I see now why they say that and that they REALLY mean it. I strongly suggest you use distilled water in this thing. That should be safe. The LED was crazy bright for bedroom use. I put a circular self-adhesive Velcro pad over the light to allow the ability to sleep near this thing. It makes occasional gurgling sounds as the reservoir drains into the tank. Not a big problem.
