Works like a charm .....had to drill a couple of holes in it to accomodate the RAM-B-149ZAU Double Ball Handlebar Mount with Short Arm mount to it but love the result.

I have had (3) failures with this Humminbird gimbal-H7 #540253-1. They all have all developed the same stress cracks at the 120 degree bend back from where the unit mounts to the gimbal. The cracks start out almost undetectable but in all cases will progress to the point of catastrophic failure.. with the sonar unit falling to the floor if by chance the cables fail to support the weight and placing a $500 sonar unit at risk!
