I bought this so I could download upgrades in the house. I use it on my 798 and my 597 units. I can practice using my units in the comfort of my house instead of running outside and hooking the units up to the boat. Very convenient.

My hummingbird fish finder always turns off every time i hit some swells or wave. I replaced the power cord with this one and it solved the issue. Im happy and satisfied with it.

I used this power cord to provide power to Hummingbird Helix 12. I wired a 12 volt end on the bare wire end (in combination with an in-line fuse) so I can use the GPS/Chip portion of the graph when driving around on the ice. Functions as expected.
