> 3 dayOverall, fantastic value. About a month into using this keyboard right now. Red switches and the white version, PBT pudding keycaps. You should note that the keyboard is usb 2.0. This is almost never an issue, however on my laptop (all ports are usb 3.0) the inputs are interrupted on occasion. Gaming-wise, this means that if you want to stutter step you might run or not move at all. Pretty much ruining the gaming experience. But, the keyboard works just fine on the usb 3.0 ports on my desktop. Strange as it is, its not a driver problem, nor a wire issue. So it likely has to do with the usb 2.0 to 3.0 interaction, which could change based on different versions of usb 3.0. tldr: keyboard is usb 2.0, so there is the potential for compatibility issues. However it could just as easily work perfectly. I would say that for gaming this makes it unplayable, also for productivity it can be a pain(dropped inputs). Otherwise, it works perfectly.

> 3 dayThe product I purchased is the E-Element Z-88 with Brown Switches and White base. The switches feel and sound great, the back lighting is nice and bright, and the size is pretty good! For its low price, you actually get a little bit more for what you pay for than you would expect. Though, dont buy this if youre looking for the high functionality that higher end keyboards have. While the keyboards size is good, it still leaves something to be desired once it is in front of you, especially if you are fond of 60% keyboards Also, the color modes for the backlight are limited so do not expect to get crazy with your options. Other than that, I do want to say again that this is a great keyboard for someone who is new to mechanical keyboards and just want to test the waters. ESPECIALLY for the price.

> 3 dayThe outemu red switches on this keyboard are suprisingly very quiet and smooth even though they might be a little scratchy, I dont mind the scratchiness. Happy to see that the stabilizers on here are pre-lubed so no rattly stabilizers. I love the feature of routing the cable, you can route it to the side or in front, and the cable is detachable and you can easily replace if you wanted. The keyboard comes with 5 extra switches if one of the keys are broken. The default keycaps are perfectly fine but I wanted to replace them with the HyperX keycaps. The RGB on this keyboard are very nice, very smooth and better than some RGB presets from other expensive keyboard companies. My keyboard came a little bented so it would wobble a bit but I easily fixed it by adding a thick rubber piece on the bottom of the keyboard and it wont wobble anymore but if you are wanting to buy this then there is a really low chance of this happening. Theres not that much downsides to this other than the bented board but that was easily fixable. Overall 10/10 keyboard would recommend to a friend.

Greater than one weekNice to type on and frees up a lot of space for my desk! Blue switches are nice and clicky but Id have to say it feels very different from cherry blues. Docked off one star because I didnt like how the original keys felt/sounded. I had to change the key caps to something better to my liking. Otherwise it is a great little keyboard with decent lighting styles and typing experience :) Update: after using this keyboard for a while, I do notice there is a bit of an input lag while typing/playing games. Which is odd to me since this a wired keyboard. :/ So if speed of input is important to you, I would advise AGAINST purchasing this keyboard. The lag is very noticeable, especially for games that require instantaneous inputs

Greater than one weekAfter a year of gaming on this board, the WASD keys has intermittent issues of not registering. When trying to move in games, the keys wont register sometimes. It was a good year of use, but no longer able to play games on this board. Longevity issues is the reason for 3 stars.

Greater than one weekI love this keyboard. Its not very ergonomically. However, the clicks do scratch the brain. It also has different color patterns.

> 3 dayI specialize in tech reviews. This is a fantastic, quick and responsive gaming keyboard. It’s worthy of competing with although this is one consideration: If you share the room, it’s one of the loudest keyboards I’ve ever encountered. Good lookin’ too! If you are the sole user you won’t even hear the loud sound of the keys after a while. However, be aware that others in your household may be annoyed if you share the room.

22-11-2024Recently my Corsair K70 met an unfortunate fate at the hands of my younger family members. So unfortunately I was in the market for another mechanical keyboard without breaking the bank, because we all know nothing breaks until you cant afford to fix it. I came across this keyboard, but was very skeptical because of the price point. This keyboard was literally half the price of my previous keyboard, so I expected it to preform how one would imagine. Surprisingly this keyboard had the same tactile feel, reassuring sound and similar quality of my previous keyboard. All the switches were working, and werent as loud as traditional blue switches which I found very attractive. Gives you the right amount of clack if you know what I mean. The back plate being metal Is a very nice touch. I love how sturdy the build feels, although Im sure youll need to clean this more than your average black plated keyboard. Im not big on the whole RGB thing, but it seems you cant escape that trend when it comes to purchasing modern computer parts and accessories lol. So if youre looking for some cool light functions, youll find it here. I never owned an 81 key compact keyboard, but I gotta say Im really enjoying the space it allows me to have. I was worried about things like multimedia keys and such because of how available they are on Corsair keyboards, but all my worries were thwarted once I got used to the FN+Multimedia keys. All in all Im not sure if I just happened to get the blessed keyboard in my time of need, but I can definitely see myself buying this keyboard again or recommending it to a friend or whoever is reading this.

> 3 dayStarting off I wanna say this is a great keyboard for its price! The Z-88 has a very nice ergonomic feel to it. Despite the title this keyboard is NOT 60%, the reason is because it has the function keys and some side keys. The RGB on this keyboard is very good, however not as bright as I had anticipated. Portability wise it is very compact! However I would rather not have the extra keys because they do take up space in a bag. Gaming wise DO NOT get blue switches! They are terrible for gaming and I learned this with my last keyboard. But do to the size of the one it is very good for gaming. I prefer a small keyboard. However when playing the keyboard seems to punch down. I got the red switches which were a nock off cherry mx red switch so they weren’t as high quality. For flexibility this keyboard is okay. It gives when you start to flex it. Also the stabilizers are junk, whenever you hit space or back or shift or any keys with them, you get an awful ting sound and it’s the same with some other keys. My first Z-88 came defective and we were able to get a replacement for it as well. Over all this isn’t a terrible keyboard and I would recommend if on a budget, but if you aren’t I would spend my money else where. There is lots of potential for this keyboard, and if it were updated I may change my review.
