Though it is not a M.2, or Have additional memory for ultra fast transfers , as a storage drive It is performing wonderfully. Highly recommend as a storage solution for collections and non-high speed required programs.

I got this literally only to say my PC has a Hyundai in it. $12.99 well spent for a faster boot drive for my media PC and a good meme.

Not convinced of the speed... Otherwise works with no apparent problems. Using it on a older laptop and this gave it a little shot in the arm.

Bought two for a home server RAID1 setup. First one failed in 5 months. Will see how the other one will last.

Fasssssssssssssssssssst. Used clonezilla with a USB 3.0 to sata clone cable. Done in less than an hour including data (180gb) disk swap in / swap out on a Panasonic toughbook. Customer is stoked. Yes 3 cell SSD is cramming a lot of data per cell, but with a 5 year warranty this will far more than suffice for end user hdd to ssd swaps. Also, reduced heat and increased battery life due to reduced power consumption. Just a really great consumer drive, but especially for toughbooks and their disk tray system. Match made in heaven.

As the headline suggests, I bought this SSD to replace an aging HDD in a family members 2011 MacBook Pro. The difference is quite astonishing- no more spinning beachballs, the boot time has been reduced to about 7 seconds, and the whole machine feels much snappier. Such a surprise that someone could get a good SSD at this price from a reliable manufacturer.
