It works with the Ram system B mounts. It is well made and heavy duty.

I use Ram Mounts in my Freightliner to keep my phone, tablet and GPS safe. 5his extension replaced a shorted one from Ram and works perfectly. It cost less, and is indistinguishable from original. Five stars!

Did not work with mount

I ended up returning this, while the length was good, it was just too bulky and the knob to tighten it was just way to big for what it is needed for.

Does as it should hold my kayak basin boat light. It attached to a 1 inch track ball. All paired together works and movable as I need to locate items.

Needed a shorter double socket arm for a custom phone mount, this length placed the phone in the perfect location. holds onto the mounting studs without issue

It does what its supposed to do but its a bit of a pain getting it opened and closed. It doesnt operate like a normal Ram extension mount, you have to basically open the whole thing to get it attached. Once its attached, it works fine though. Ill be using it on track this weekend so well see how it holds up.
