Very sturdy bags. Even after filling with ice then partly melting before I can get it to a freezer at different location from the ice machine, it still holds up.

Just what I wanted

I purchased these to use with my ice machine. They are sturdy enough to reuse / refill a couple of times.

I had hoped to reduce the amount of times I’d need to make the trip to get ice from a machine we have access to. I typically get four 10lb bags of ice and store them in our chest freezer. My hope was to get these 20lb bags and have MORE ice on hand with fewer trips. After placing the bags in my freezer, I need to bust them to use for drinks. It’s not uncommon. But when I bust up the ice, the bags break. That means wasted ice. I’ll be using the rest of these and buying bags that are thicker.

I was disappointed. From the start I had to double the bags to assure the ice was contained. Even then holes would develop between both bags. Definitely not reusable. I have much better luck reusing a commercial grade ice bag but that means I have to pay for a new bag of ice after about 10 uses. I am going to try a 2 mil (50 micron) thick alternative.
