24-11-2024Itll be used to bypass a leaking heater core on my antique car so I can drive it w/o all the glass fogging up. It looks well made and precisely machined. Its shorter than the Dorman connector which may make the hose connections easier in the available space.

> 3 dayI used to purchase to plastic couplers from auto parts store but they fail every 3-4 years sending plastic chunks and bits into my water pump and cooling system, this is much better material and will probably outlive the Jeep and me.

> 3 dayCame as ordered and used it on my car’s heater hose carrying coolant to the heater core. Has worked fine so far and both sizes of hose fit well. Only issue was that coolant vapor could still escape the barbs, I saw lots of gas coming out of the coupling. Nothing a quick hose clamp couldn’t solve though. Good all around.

> 3 dayVery difficult to assemble and positively clamp hose ends to this reducer /adapter. Had to replace rubber hoses, new clamps and double clamp each end to finally seal up the connection. I would like to see this part with more aggressive barbs /ribbing to better bind with hose ends; this may help seal up to prevent leaks.

> 3 dayMost RVs are frankenstein assemblies. In my case, the vent hose from the gas fill (where the nozzle inserts) was a different size than the vent hose coming back from the tank. I needed this adapter to join them. Thankfully someone actually makes it! Sharp barbs on this product, accurate sizing, clamps & hoses are on tight, and the split/leaking hoses of prior work gone!
