This was a gift, very happy with it and a great colour.

Must have for curling wands that love to roll around when you set them down!

The little dinky stand that came with my hot tool was a joke, and trying to use my craft mat or desk, would just make it slide off (causing some potentially disastrous situations, but due to my previous mom ninja training, I avoided burning myself). Anyways, I tried looking for some sort of silicon craft mat, or tool holder, and didnt like anything I came across. This happened to pop up on a search for above, and it looked perfect for the job. It definitely is. I no longer have to avoid my tool flinging itself off my desk. The grooves in this prevent any slippage, even if you accidentally bump your cord. Guess Ill have to practice my ninja skills elsewhere now.

Keeps my flat iron from falling off the toilet tank (we have a small bathroom with a pedestal sink, and the toilet tank is the only place to set the flat iron while it heats up. I wish I would have bought one of these a long time ago.

Used for straighteners

I recently remodeled my bathroom and I didnt want my flat irons to damage the countertop. This mat is thick, sturdy and great design. I probably should purchase another.

I moved into an apartment with semi-finished wooden counters in the bathroom (landlords choice, not mine...) and this kept me from burning the place down with my hair straightener. Job done.
