Very simple design, easy to install. Easy to ‘reload’, giving the other people in the household zero excuse to leave you stranded on the toilet bowl.

This is such a good buy. I also bought the paper towel holder to use for hand towels in our half bath. I love that you can pull the towel right off rather than lift it up and over in this small space. We have plaster walls and the just the two screws securely anchored it to the wall. Thanks to everyones reviews I save a lot of money and got a quality bar (toilet paper holder too) that looks sleek and classic.

If you are mounting this holder through drywall and into a stud, the minute you open the package, take the holder to a hardware store and get good screws that dont strip like the 2 cheap screws included. They get harder to turn in a stud because they are rather longer than what is needed and strip leaving a loose fitting and cannot be taken out. I am making due... Then, get a brown or black magic marker and color them.

Easy to install and wont fall apart.

As soon as we tried to install it, both screw heads stripped out completely. Will be fine and function for its purpose once we get new screws. Overall, it is kind of cheaply made, but just needs to hold the paper.

Excellent value, sturdy, easy to install. Can be installed right, left, or straight up. I fiddled with it until figuring out that an open to the left (opposite of the picture here) on the left wall (only wall in this bathroom) meant that tearing the paper would pull the roll *toward* the base meaning the roll doesnt fly off. Edited: Just came back and bought another for bathroom #2. The first is perfect, holding up well, sturdy and looks really nice. So glad theyre still offering these.

When buying a new house, things like this can seem like a small detail, but they can cause headaches if they dont work property. No problems here, it works, looks great, and installed easily.
