If Only It Were True

Was looking for a book from when I was 16, found it ordered it got her in 3 days in great condition and fast!!! I was amazed. I am defiantly going to buy from this seller again. Try it out it is so worth it. :)

Some authors innately have it, the right touch, an ambiance that immediately grabs the reader. He describes deep, meaningful love so genuinely well, along with telling a story that keeps readers turning the pages, guessing which ending hell choose. I look forward to reading more of Levys books, and have already started another of his novels. The way he drew his protagonist, an extension of himself I could tell, prompted me to google him. The interview (with photos) confirmed everything I garnered about his personality through his character Arthur. Levy is a renaissance man, a kind, interesting and well-informed man of the world. A kindly, good man. They type that are difficult to find. A person of good karma, and therefore, I am even happier to learn of his success. I look forward to reading all of his books. Thank you Marc Levy for wonderful entertainment and intelligent, interesting reading. P.S. I just read Publishers Weeklys review, above. Apparently your reviewer was skimming the novel. The female love interest was not a nurse - she was a resident doctor. Also, the reviewer stated Levy has no ear for American speech, I thoroughly disagree with that assessment. Hes as fluid in understanding American nuance as I. I suggest Publishers Weekly keep checking that reviewers work. It needs a great deal of polishing. (And no, I do not know Levy personally.)

I read this after reading PS from Paris. I was disappointed that it seem to end so quickly. If you read PS from Paris you know that they end up together. This book doesnt give you that other than with one still in ghost form. I wish the sequel was available in English.

Really enjoy Marc Levys novels. They are not your normal, run-of-the-mill romances. Great to read as an escape from all the negativity and chaos in todays world.

This is the first book I have read by Marc Levy. Such a creative story. I now intend to work my way through the rest of his books.

I have never enjoyed a book as much as this one. I bought the ony other book written by marc levy afterwards. I tried going to his website to send him a message but was not able. He is the best author! I hope more of his books will be published in engish soon.

Loved this story which reads like a fairy tale. Couldnt put it down towards the end. You know when you carry on reading past the end just because you cant put it down? Thats how I found that it was turned into a movie, which I hope does the book justice - lets see...

Ok, so a woman is in an accident which leaves her in a coma. Her spirit goes to her old apartment and she meets Author. I’m following along and loving the story. After more than six months they are pulling the plug. From that point on the story line gets stupid. It becomes unbelievable and the end is disappointing. I can’t call this a good book to read. It felt like a waste of time for me.
