iFixit Mako Driver Kit - 64 Precision Bit Set for Electronics Repair

Ok, so someone finally made a good screwdriver set.... I have bought dozens of sets of screwdrivers in the past... This is the last one I will own. Why? Simple, The design of the case is BRILLIANT. First the lid is held on with magnets, meaning no hinges to break or clasps to snap off. Second, The bits are held in with firm foam, so they are easy to pull out, but they wont go flying accidentally if you bump the case. Third, the bits are quality metal, even applying a lot of torque on some tiny screws with thread lock, no tips got dull or snapped.... This is the best set ive ever owned...

To fix the track pad on my 2012 MacBook Pro (M1 on order) I only needed a P000 or P00 bit - a small triwing and a T6. After reading all the reviews and looking at cheaper kits I went for the expensive IFIXIT PRO TECH at $70 on Amazon. Everything Ive ever read highly recommends IFIXIT so I figured what the hell and went for the PRO TECH which includes the MAKO 64 bit kit with driver. The kit itself seems to be excellent and as advertised. The BIG PROBLEM is this toolkit has NO INVENTORY of what is contained in the kit or what it could be used for. Nothing in the box documentation. Some of the bits are labeled in the holder with black on black labeling of what bit goes in that slot. Black on black is almost impossible to read. Much cheaper tool kits clearly label the bits - so why cant IFIXIT do the same thing? Some of the bits are not even labeled. The IFIXIT web site does have a pdf file which labels some of the bits - but to download it you have to join DROPBOX and allow them access to your address book. Why doesnt IFIXIT just give away the documentation they fail to put in the kit box?

Very good tools set. I would have a given 5 star but the price is bit high. I dont think its value for money becuase there are tool kits available with much less price.

Super high quality tips and driver. I was skeptical but needed the stupid Pentalobe for an iPhone. Ill never need another small tip set. It also has a lifetime warranty!

I found the number of bits that this kit included to be a great value for the money spent. I like that it comes in a case, and all the parts seem to be high quality. It was very useful when I needed to take apart my laptop for repair. I am sure the other bits will all come in handy for various electronics or small devices that I may need to take apart in the future. I would highly recommend this for people who like fixing things on their own.

Auswahl ist super und selbst die verücktesten Technischen Geräte konnte ich damit leicht öffnen. Sollte jeder im Haus haben.
