iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit

I waited to write this review for a while, but after having used this product for some time now, I can say this is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.

After waffling on whether or not to buy this kit I finally took the leap. Its great. Period. Ive already made more use of it in the first month of owning it than I had anticipated. The screwdriver handle has a nice solid, quality feel to it and the various pry tools have made separating plastic panels so much easier. The magnetic seal on the driver bits is a nice touch, and the carrying case keeps everything nice and tidy. Adding a key cap remover has made this the perfect tool kit for just about any PC work Ill ever do.

Came on time. Product is as expected. Needed the part and ifixit had it.

Solid toolkit for just about anything! I use it for PC building and repair. Comes with everything you could need and its the quality weve come to expect from iFixit!

Im really glad I bought this toolkit, it did feel quite expensive but Ive been using it for a while now and it has everything that I need.

I purchased this as a New item at $74.00+, but when I received it, the adhesive seal was broken on the outer box and a corner crushed (pic 2) … I opened the kit to find a long hair inside (pic 1) … ugh! This is a Christmas gift for my techie son and was disappointed with the condition as received. After I removed to sleeve and opened the box, it revealed a beautifully presented set (pics 3, 4). I can’t help but wonder if all the components are original, authentic pieces. I’ll have to let my son decide .. if not, I’ll return to Amazon. A little quality control would be nice on these high ticket tool kits. 5 stars for tool kit, but took away 1 point for condition received. 4 stars overall.

Any time you open the folded case, the bit case falls out. This is from a reallllly weak magnet that slides out of its intended housing non stop. Other than that ONE THING. Ifixit tools are the effing best. Period. I have had my IFixIt Mako kit for 8 years and it still works like new. I have broken a few bit and easily got replacements every time. Honestly I cant live with out my Ifixit for gunsmithing. srsly. Though I am starting to love my Manta over my Mako. Sorry Mako for cheating on you!!!
